Community Mobilization for First Grade Enrollment
NGO βNevo Konceptiβ, as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting inclusive education, has
launched a mobilization campaign following the opening of the second enrollment period for first grade.
During this period, 26 school groups were mobilized across 7 municipalities in Kosovo. The mobilization
efforts were carried out through school group meetings and door-to-door outreach.
The primary goal of this activity was to raise awareness among parents from the Roma, Ashkali, and
Egyptian communities about the importance of timely school enrollment for their children, as well as to
provide support throughout the enrollment process.
This activity was implemented within the framework of the project βPromotion and Realization of Roma
Rights in Kosovo and Albaniaβ, supported by Karl KΓΌbel Stiftung (KKS), and funded by the German
Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Kosovo Foundation for
Open Society (KFOS).
