On July 28, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Director of the
Directorate of Education of South Mitrovica β Drita Kadriu, on behalf of the Mayor of the
Municipality of South Mitrovica β Bedri Hamza, and by the Executive Director of the non-
governmental organization βNevo Konceptiβ β Osman Osmani, for the implementation of the
project titled βPromotion and Realization of Roma Rights in Kosovo and Albania.β The project is
supported by Karl KΓΌbel Stiftung (KKS) and funded by the German Federal Ministry for
Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society
(KFOS).
The purpose of this Memorandum is to establish a broad and mutual understanding regarding
the support that the parties will provide for the activities of the project βPromotion and
Realization of Roma Rights in Kosovo and Albania,β specifically in the areas of education,
healthcare, and employability at the Community Learning Center in the Municipality of South
Mitrovica.
