Educational and Awareness-Raising Lecture on Cervical Cancer

During the month of February, within the framework of the project โ€œPromotion and Realization of the Rights of Roma in Kosovo and Albania,โ€ and in collaboration with the Regional Public Health Center in Prizren, an educational and awareness-raising lecture on cervical cancer was organized for women from the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities.

During the session, the importance of prevention, regular screenings, and vaccination was discussed, as well as ways to make informed decisions about personal health. The lecture aimed to empower women to make decisions based on accurate medical knowledge and to encourage the use of available health services.

This project is implemented by a consortium of partners: Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KFOS), Nevo Koncepti (NVK), and Drejtรซsi Sociale (DS), in partnership with Karl Kรผbel Stiftung (KKS), and with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and KFOS.
